with a capital “D”. “D” here is not denoting my father’s initials, as it usually does. Its “D” for “Daring”. Yes, I am daring!
I am differently abled and wheelchair bound. Due to this limitation of mine, I have restricted travel since most places are inaccessible to me. But this has not dampened my spirit to pursue my art work. I paint and draw ideas from places I have visited. I also draw inspiration from different art forms and develop and create my own art work.
So, I paint, I write, I laugh, I do my physio, my speech sessions. I voice my opinions through my writings and my art. From time to time, I put down my thoughts on my blog https://mayankdesaicom.wordpress.com
I find immense pleasure in doing whatever I can. Yes, I am not even able to do those work which all of you, rather, most of you, do so easily. But I feel one need not bother what he can’t do but take pride in what he can do.
Now coming to my family
I am blessed to have parents who take extremely good care of me, unlike some less privileged.
- Dadcoolest dad anyone can have. Big support in matters that I propose.
- Mom though strict, but is definitely the force of my survival.
